The Lou Lou’s Team
Stacy Carlson’s passion for beautiful design and amazing products was the impetus for Lou Lou’s opening in 1998. Thirteen years later, Stacy’s dream is a tried and true reality. Her interior design clients can be found in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, New York, Arizona and California with beautifully designed rooms that evoke Stacy’s special style. Stacy also provides the casual shopper with a wonderful assortment of unique and special products. Furnishings at Lou Lou’s resemble Stacy’s personal style. “I enjoy rooms that have a simple elegance to them; not overdone, not overpowering, just beautifully pulled together. A room should be designed so it can be used and enjoyed.”
Brett Carlson is Stacy’s husband and co-owner of Lou Lou’s. Brett has been involved with the store from the very beginning, and although he boasts neither Stacy’s eye or passion for design he is pretty handy with a screwdriver. He oversees all delivery and installation at Lou Lou’s and enjoys the final stage of the design process.
Courtney is thrilled to be part of the Lou Lou’s Design team. She has worked on projects up and down the east coast, including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and Washington, DC. Whether designing a quaint beach cottage or a massive country estate, Courtney believes that a home is a sanctuary that should be an intricate balance between a serene escape and just the right amount of excitement, like a pop of color or a conversation piece of furniture. She has an artful eye and loves fine tuning each room down to the last detail. Using the principles of design and her flair for what’s fashionable, Courtney collaborates with her clients to create classic interiors that reflect the home owners’ personal styles.
Molly is a recent graduate from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in textiles, fashion merchandising and design. She is excited and proud to join the Lou Lou’s team. She is eager and happy to assist the designers and help around the showroom.
